Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai in Hoi An, Vietnam, has put together a Global Wellness Day (GWD) agenda with activations rooted in nature and shaped by four pillars of Joy – in alignment with the day’s theme #JoyMagenta.
The resort’s Heart of the Earth Spa will host visitors on GWD, 13th June 2026.
The spa’s activities are structured around GWD’s four pillars of joy: gratitude, movement, creativity and connection.
“Happiness grows with intention and attention,” says spa manager Oanh Ngo. “For Global Wellness Day, our team has created experiences that invite guests to slow down, be present and reconnect with the simple practices through which joy can take root.”
Joy in gratitude
Guests will gather at dawn on the beach for a Gratitude Ceremony, which includes a gentle sound bath using crystal singing bowls. Participants will then inscribe blessings onto sea stones and return them to the water, followed by a moment of reflection, and a hibiscus-infused tea will be served.
Joy in movement
A class called Ocean Movement Flow will incorporate yoga and intuitive dance on the resort’s shore for an uplifting start to the day.
Joy in creativity
Guests will be able to design and paint their own mandalas in collaboration with creative practitioners from Rise Creative Studio. This experience will enable guests to experience creativity as a meditative practice, encouraging personal reflection through colour, form and intention.
Joy through connection
In the resort’s garden, guests will symbolically adopt and plant a sapling from the nursery during a ceremony. The contributions will support a social enterprise called Green Youth Collective, which is dedicated to regenerative sustainability solutions. The funds will go towards the enterprise’s community-led initiative to restore a local riverbank.
The day will conclude with the resort’s signature Goodnight Kiss to the Earth ritual. Guests release handwritten letters addressed to Mother Nature across the lotus pond at sunset to the sounds of crystal singing bowls.
