The franchisee of the énergie Fitness for Women club in Belfast, Northern Ireland, has introduced a new revenue stream by launching a detox programme.
The club's owner, Saima Akram, said that around 50 members have taken up the programme since it launched in January 2010 - equating to 20 per cent of the club's 250 members.
The 30-day programme uses products by supplier Ultra-Body and retails for £16.95 and consists of 30 sachets, containing a blend of detoxifying herbs, which are simply combined with water and consumed on a daily basis.
