A new hotel, themed around spas and wellness has opened in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The Mainport Hotel, located in the heart of Rotterdam, on the banks of the Maas River, features a number of in room spa facilities. Each of the five room categories house the private spa treatment amenities, walk-in showers and spa pools.
Waterfront Spa and Spa Suite rooms also boast private hot tubs with views across the city and private Finnish saunas.
In addition, the hotel has its own spa - Spa Heaven, which hosts a Turkish steamroom and hammam complex with two treatment rooms and a lounge area for pre and post treatment relaxation.
Also on offer are a number of traditional massages and scrubs including hot stone massage, Lomi Lomi massage, Sacred Nature body scrub and a Cocoon body wrap. Located on the eighth floor, Spa Heaven also offers impressive view to customers being treated.
The holistic wellness theme runs throughout the hotel and the interior design was moulded around the culture of Rotterdam by designer Feran Thomassen.
