The four-star Solent Hotel and Spa in Fareham, Hampshire, has undergone a £5m (US$6.6m, €5.6m) expansion.
Development of the Thwaites hotel includes a new 54-bedroom lodge and a Parson's Collar Pub and Kitchen.
Solent Hotel and Spa general manager Steve Woodrow said the facilities are tailor-made for customers on a budget looking for a premium experience.
He said: "The design of the lodge is modern and fresh with some quirky features to not only make our guests smile, but also to make the very best use of the space.
"It has been inspired by the best of ‘beach and city life’ and alongside the stylish guest rooms there will be some other striking features, including sculptures and funky street furniture."
