Marriott has hired additional therapists to cope with demand |
|
The spa at the Tudor Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club in Bearsted, Kent, has undergone a major redevelopment as part of plans to modernise the hotel’s wellness offering.
Operated by Marriott, the new look spa now includes four refurbished therapy suites, a new pedicure area and new skincare technology from UK-based product house Elemis.
As a result of the expansion, the team of therapists has been increased from four to 11.
The spa has also introduced Elemis’ skin analysis computer, which photographs the face and produces in-depth analysis of the skin’s structure, pinpointing problems such as sun damage.
The Biotech equipment is then used to prescribe facials based on the evidence.
“The new look and the investment in Elemis means we can offer our guests an even better experience, with a scientific approach to skin care,” said Jane Don Lohmann, Tudor Park’s director of leisure.
The spa is at the centre of the hotel’s leisure facilities, which also includes a health club housing a CV suite and large gym floor, indoor pool, sauna and exercise studios.
