US-based franchisor Massage Heights has revealed expansion plans that will bring its total number of locations to 300 by 2020.
The company had a record-breaking year in 2017, earning more than US$100m (£71.2m, €80.9m), and opening 14 locations across the US.
As part of its growth strategy, Massage Heights is targeting franchise development in Chicago, Nashville, South Florida, Las Vegas, Dallas and St Louis, and is recruiting single- and multi-unit franchisees.
Shane Evans, co-founder and president of Massage Heights, said: “The spa industry continues to report strong growth, with total revenue in the industry hitting US$16.8bn and spa visits rising to 184 million.”
“This trend has driven interest in in Massage Heights’ franchise opportunity to an all-time high. In 2017, we welcomed six new strategic partners and 40 per cent of our growth was with existing franchisees,” she continued.
“We’re thrilled to start 2018 with such momentum and look forward to our continued expansion across the country.”

The company is recruiting single- and multi-unit franchisees in major American cities including Dallas, Nashville, and Chicago.
