Following the inauguration in Spain of its outlet centre Factory Las Rozas at Puerto Santa Maria in 1997, property group Neinver is opening a new 240,000sq ft leisure park this month in Madrid. Neinver, founded in 1969, has an objective to 'develop innovate activities tailored to the needs of our society'. Nassica is the first shopping and leisure centre in Spain that integrates retail outlets. family entertainment, a sport area and adventure facilities. The Nassica site, 17km from Madrid's city centre, with over 1,500 metres of façade on two motorways, is backed by a Madrid community investment of 75,000m pesetas. Facilities include 20 multiplex cinemas; restaurants, bars and cafes; 38,000sq metres of family leisure and entertainment including bowling alleys, an outdoor snow piste, hot air balloon flights and virtual reality; 15,000sq metres of shopping space; a 17,.000sq metres outlet centre and 5,000 car parking spaces.
