Radisson SAS is continuing its expansion across Europe, which involves introducing spas at new hotels in Kiev, Dusseldorf and Rostock in Germany; Hasselt in Belgium; Cork in Ireland and Mellieha in Malta.
The properties in Rostock, Kiev and Cork have already opened. The 251-room Radisson SAS Hotel Rostock includes a 400sq m (4,300sq ft) fitness suite with a Finnish sauna, sanarium, steamroom, experience showers and a solarium.
The 37m euro (US$45.8m, £25.3m) Radisson Hotel & Spa Cork features The Retreat Spa & Fitness Centre – the only hotel spa in Cork City – which offers nine treatment rooms with products supplied by Elemis, a relaxation suite, a gym equipped by Precor and an 18m hydrotherapy pool incorporating massage seats, jets, geysers and bubble seats.
The Golden Sands Resorts & Spa in Mellieha, Malta – which is scheduled to open on 1 October – will feature a 1,000sq m (10,760sq ft) spa and leisure centre.
