Marriott International has unveiled the US$70m (£37.5m, 55m euro) renovation of its Newport Beach Hotel and Spa on Newport Beach in California, US.
A new 14,000sq ft (1,300sq m) spa called Pure Blu – part of Marriott’s Revive Spa collection – has been built.
It features 16 treatment rooms, a hair and nail salon, a spa pool with outdoor cabanas, a sauna and a steamroom as well as a poolside bar and a fitness centre featuring Cardio-Theater facilities.
The revamp also included the redesign of all 532 guest rooms and the addition of 20 suites, including three penthouse suites and two 1,500sq ft (140sq m) presidential suites.
Other facilities include the signature restaurant, Sam & Harry’s, which serves traditional steakhouse dishes, and the Lobby Lounge, which serves sushi.
Further facilities include a new 41,000sq ft (3,800sq m) indoor/outdoor meeting place, a newly designed porte cochere and a spacious lobby. Details: www.marriott.com
