The new Mandara Spa at the Atlantis destination resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas will open in April 2007.
Covering 35,000sq ft (2,788sq m), the spa will have 35 treatment rooms designed to a contemporary, Balinese theme.
Other features of the spa will be private villas, gardens, a sauna and steamroom, a cold plunge, a hot whirlpool and Asian showers.
Treatments will draw upon Balinese healing systems blended with classic European techniques while signature spa therapies include the Exotic Frangipani Body Nourish Float.
A Spa Ocean Wrap will also be available as well as the Mandara signature Taking The Waters bathing experience, which includes a sauna, cold plunge, hot whirlpool and showers.
The spa will use Elemis SkinLab, which offers tailored skin solutions targeted to specific needs. There will also be an Elemis SpaPod, where therapies have been designed to deliver maximum results in under 30 minutes.
Inspired by the myth of the Lost Continent of Atlantis, the resort also features a large marine habitat with more than 250 species and a US$15m (11.3m euro, £7.7m) marina with 20 different swimming areas.
Other attractions include beaches, a casino, and a large conference centre.
