Expressions of interest are being invited for a new leaseholder for the iconic Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve Bathhouse, situated in Victoria, Australia.
The Bathhouse has been in operation since the 1890s and recently underwent a AUS$10m (US$8.59m, 6.3m euro, £4.26m).
Reopening early next year, work has included an extensive refurbishment of the existing relaxation and therapy rooms within the heritage building and the construction of a new mineral pool.
Planning minister for the Victorian government, Justin Madden, said: “The Mineral Springs Reserve Bathhouse is one of our most treasured tourism icons and is widely considered to be the jewel in the crown of Australia’s spa and wellness destinations.
“We are now looking for a world-class operator to run this world-class facility.”
The redevelopment was managed by Major Projects Victoria in conjunction with Regional Development Victoria.
