Banyan Tree has launched dedicated Spa Sanctuary Villas at two of its resorts in Mexico: the Banyan Tree Mayakoba on the Riviera Maya and the Banyan Tree Cabo Marques, near Acapulco.

The Spa Sanctuary Villas are designed as a fully-immersive wellbeing experience, with unlimited spa treatments, and account for about ten per cent of the rooms at each resort. The villas have a separate area for treatments with two treatment beds, as well as a secluded outdoor area and private pool.

Banyan Tree already offers Spa Sanctuary Villas at seven of its Asian properties, and the company said they will soon be adopted at all of its properties.

Upon arrival, guests meet with Sanctuary Hosts and spa therapists to create a bespoke itinerary. Each day begins with a Morning Delight Treatment, such as a neck and shoulder massage or Thai yoga massage, followed by an in-villa wellness breakfast with healthy food and drink choices.

Throughout the day, guests can receive additional treatments at their leisure, with therapists on-hand to offer unlimited massages from a menu of ten treatments, including ayurvedic, Balinese, lomi lomi, targeted sports therapy and Thai massage, as well as a Personal Hydro Experience and Senses Reviver Foot Massage.

Each evening, guests will also receive special therapeutic ‘Sanctuary for the Senses’ turndown amenities.
