Tuscany’s Adler Thermae, a luxury thermal spa in Bagno Vignoni, Italy, has renovated its spa facilities and added two new sauna experiences.
A panoramic Finnish sauna area features a sauna, plunge pool and relaxation area, as well as views over the undulating Tuscan hills and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Val d’Orcia.
The new bio-sauna is located in the middle of the spa’s tranquil lake, which is set within a disused Travertine quarry.
The two new saunas are in addition to Adler Thermae’s existing spa facilities, which include Artemisia, a steam sauna with Tuscan herbs; Salino, an Etruscan sauna with salt steam; Grotta del Filosofo, a steam bath in a cave with relaxation area; Argillae, a rasul clay bath; and Grotta Salina, an underground salt bath. The Grotta Filosofo also received a complete overhaul.
Adler Thermae also has a team of doctors and experts on-site who specialise in the fields of regenerative, preventative, complementary and gentle aesthetic medicine, as well as a fitness centre, guided daily walks and mountain bike tours; and extensive landscaped gardens.
