Spa marketing company Spafinder has expanded its SpaRahRah! service following a pilot scheme completed in New York City and Los Angeles.
SpaRahRah! is targeted at spa companies looking to attract customers by offering discounted deals on spa and wellness getaways and promoting them as "one-of-a-kind" offers.
According to Spafinder COO Sallie Fraenkel, the SpaRahRah! product aims to carve out a niche in the crowded deals space by including travel offerings at top spas throughout the world, as well as local deals at up to 75 per cent off in new markets including Miami, Boston, and Philadelphia.
The move is part of Spafinder's strategy to respond to the growing demand in discounted spa services and comes after a Yipit.com survey revealed that beauty- and wellness-related deals account for over 30 percent of the deals offered by group-buying sites.
Fraenkel said: "By developing exceptional deals that stand out from the usual offerings, we can help produce lasting relationships for our partners with quality customers."
