Being detached from the crowd is the main attraction for those using exclusive hospitality facilities within a stadium.
However, few would want to be entirely cut off from the spectator atmosphere on a big match day, despite the presence of wind and driving rain.
A screen system developed by Swedish company Svalson enables corporate boxes and hospitality suites to enjoy the best of both worlds. The screens can be operated electronically using a push button controller or manually. Individuals can choose when to open them and how far, and when to close them again.
The screen, supplied in the UK by Meesons A.I. of Skipton, is available with thermal insulation to prevent heat loss and optimise the efficiency of air-conditioning. They are also easily installed as a retro-fit solution.
