Mark Harrod: A terrific ten years

It’s been quite a decade for Mark Harrod Ltd. Founded in 2004, the business has constantly grown to the point where it now supplies sport’s elite: Chelsea FC, the Welsh RFU, Lilleshall National Training Centre, and Lord’s Cricket Ground to name just a few.

But the company is just as focused on its smaller customers, sponsoring dozens of local sports teams and competitions and supplying grass-roots level sport across the country.

As Mark Harrod Ltd approaches 10 years there are no signs of it slowing down. The company has just released its biggest ever catalogue – a glossy 136 pages showcasing everything it supplies. The football section in particular has been completely revamped, and showcases more than fifty types of goal, everything from 11-a-side to Futsal.

The company’s new 5,000 sq ft bespoke premises allows it to expand the netting department, employ more staff and significantly increase the number of goals it can manufacture. A new shop area means customers can visit to purchase smaller items such as training accessories and line marker paint, as well as speak directly to the experts.

This – alongside the recently expanded 20,000 sq ft factory in Stafford, a fleet of vehicles and Mark Harrod himself being a SAPCA representative to the BSI committee – means Mark Harrod Ltd is ideally placed for another excellent ten years.
