Jarvis Hotels have signed a contract to run two new hotels at Glasgow Airport. These are the first contracts to be won by Jarvis' new hospitality management services division, Jarvis Management Services (JMS). Established this year, JMS operates hotels on behalf of asset owners and investors. The Glasgow Airport Ramada will be a 108-room hotel with an Italian restaurant, and it will be joined by a second 98-room hotel that will be aimed at the budget market and operating under an international brand yet to be disclosed. Both new hotels, which are within walking distance of the airport terminals, will open in the first half of 2002 bringing the total number of hotels operated by Jarvis in Scotland to 13.
