Sreedhar will talk about neuro-somatic healing for nervous system reset

Global retreat trade show, Synergy The Retreat Show, has launched a resource called The Source, which hosts an open-access online Transformation Series programme.

Different retreat leaders, hoteliers, travel designers, practitioners and wellness innovators will host sessions to share insights, ideas and practical perspectives. The platform has been set up to provide a collaborative shared dialogue for the wellness travel sector.

Laura Montesanti, founder and MD of Synergy – The Retreat Show, said: “Over the years, I have observed how precious and impactful those few days of Synergy - The Retreat Show are for everyone who attends. The level of talent, expertise and lived experience present in the room is truly extraordinary. It felt natural to find a way to extend that energy beyond the event itself so it could reach further.

“Education is the natural next step for an industry that is evolving and growing. If we are serious about transformation, we must invest not only in inspiration, but also in knowledge, strategy and informed leadership.”

The next session listed on the platform will take place on 1 July at 13:00 CET via Zoom. It will be led by Dr Cijith Sreedhar, chief medical officer at Prakriti Shakti. He will talk about neuro-somatic healing and how to reset the nervous system for stress and emotional balance. Sreedhar will provide practical tools and help participants develop the awareness required to activate the body’s natural healing response for resilience.

Other sessions hosted on the site have included:

  • Ageing and saging: the rise of psilocybin retreats as a modern rite of passage, led by Heather A Lee, a licensed psychedelic facilitator, speaker and author of The Psilocybin Sessions.
  • How to build a community ready to buy your retreat in 2026, led by retreat host and business mentor Manu Molina. The content focused on finding the right audience, attracting them and converting genuine interest into bookings.
  • Stillness within: an immersive workshop in self-hypnosis and sound healing. This one-hour workshop was hosted by Letizia Silvestri. She carried out a guided hypno-sound bath with self-hypnosis techniques to help participants navigate overwhelm with ease.

The 2026 trade show

Synergy – The Retreat Show recently announced the theme for its 2026 event will be the healing power of nature. The trade show will take place at the Pical Resort by Valamar in Istria, Croatia, between 29 September and 2 October.
