Armani-branded spa opens in Tokyo
POSTED 21 Feb 2008 . BY Sarah Todd
The Armani Group, owned by Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani, has opened its first Armani-branded spa in Tokyo, Japan.

The Armani Spa, situated at the 12-storey Armani Ginza Tower in the city’s Ginza district, includes three luxurious private treatment suites.

The Ginza Tower is the fourth megastore for the fashion designer, following outlets in Italy, Hong Kong and Germany.

The next Armani Hotel and Spa to open will be a joint venture, at the Burj Dubai tower, between Armani and the Dubai-based Emaar Hotels and Resorts.

The 40,000sq m (431,000sq ft) Dubai Armani Hotel – designed by Armani and funded by Emaar – will feature 175 rooms and suites, restaurants and a spa.

Further Armani Hotels are expected to open in Milan, London and New York, following a US$1bn (813m euro, £550m) deal between Armani and Emaar in 2004; the partners committed to developing at least seven luxury hotels and three vacation resorts over a 10-year period.
