Apex Hotels appoints Celynn Morin to spearhead new Warmer Welcome initiative
POSTED 15 Mar 2018 . BY Lauren Heath-Jones
Ceylinn Morin is a registered dietician, keynote speaker and author
Family-run hotel chain Apex Hotels has appointed wellbeing expert Celynn Morin to lead its new guest wellbeing campaign, Warmer Welcome.

The campaign, which launched at the Apex City of Bath Hotel, will see the introduction of new in-room guidebooks written by Morin, a registered dietician, keynote speaker and author.

The guidebook will offer guests advice on healthy habits, including getting good-quality sleep. It also includes breathing exercises and details on mindfulness techniques.

Warmer Welcome also includes a range of hot drinks, designed to relax, rejuvenate or focus guests, healthy in-room snacks and the addition of a relaxing pillow spray to the range of amenities.

Warmer Welcome will be rolled out across the remaining nine properties in the Apex portfolio, with each hotel creating its own range of drinks and snacks.

Morin has also developed a podcast, ‘Rejuvenate, Focus and Relax with Celynn Morin’, which will feature five 10-minute episodes covering a range of topics including mindfulness, smart snacking, movement and sleep.

Angela Vickers, CEO of Apex Hotels, said: We’re delighted to be working with Celynn to ensure that our guests feel looked after on every level. She’s an expert in her field, so with her guidance, we’ll be able to provide small touches – in our rooms and beyond– which show that the health and wellbeing of our guests is very important to us.”

Morin said: “I travel a lot, for both work and pleasure, and know that staying healthy and well on the road means different things to different people. That’s why we’ve focused on helping guests to help themselves get the most out of their minds and bodies.”
