Swiss medi-wellness clinic, Clinique La Prairie, has launched two limited edition retreats, called Energising Wellness and Immunity Boost, exclusively available for winter 2020 and spring 2021.

Set against the backdrop of the breathtaking Swiss Alps, the clinic uses a unique holistic approach to improve health and wellbeing, where all programmes are built around four pillars - Medicine, Wellbeing, Nutrition and Movement.

Developed by the clinic’s qualified health practitioners, the new five-day programmes are both underpinned by a focus on supporting healthy immune systems and have been conceived to replenish energy and immunity levels and help guests learn more about how to kickstart habits for a healthy lifestyle.

Both retreats include a comprehensive health check-up, which assesses cardiac health, blood analysis, body composition and skin health, as well as sessions which allow guests to strengthen the body and mind, using mindfulness classes, PT training and IV drips to correct deficiencies.

Clinique La Prairie’s new offering also emphasises the role a healthy diet plays in immunity, with the retreats featuring nutritional coaching sessions and a private masterclass about antioxidant and anti-inflammatory nutrients.

Energising Wellness also features a healthy cooking class with the facility’s gourmet chef, a personal session during which guests will learn the secret of the clinic’s healthy recipes.

Other wellbeing experiences included are cryotherapy and infratherapy sessions, an aesthetic medicine consultation and a massage individual to each programme.

Immunity Booster’s massage features a ritual using Swiss botanicals, while Energising Wellness is complemented with a signature Clinique La Prairie relaxing massage.

Energising Wellness’ comprehensive package also extends to offer body composition analysis an immersive 90-minute hydro-contrast circuit, associated with Shirodhara treatment and reflexology.

Prices for Energising Wellness start from 8,500CH (€7,876, £7,166, US$9,261) per person while Immunity Booster has a starting cost of 6,900CHF (€6,393, £5,801, US$7,520) per person.

Both packages include access to the fitness centre, pool, sauna, steamroom and vitality pool.
