InvisiScar claims to reduce the appearance of acne scars in just eight weeks |
|
Murad Skincare, a product house specialising in clinical skincare, has launched a new resurfacing product, called the InvisiScar Resurfacing Treatment, that claims to dramatically improve the appearance of acne scarring.
The treatment is designed to minimise the appearance of acne scarring, by targeting depth, texture, thickness and pigmentation, in just eight weeks. It features a high-performance formula the contains salicylic acid and glucosamine to exfoliate and promote cell turnover to reveal a smoother texture, while ethically sourced Madagascan Tiger Grass hydrates and supports the reparation of the skin's natural barrier.
Other key ingredients include vitamin C and hydroxytyrosol, which act as potent antioxidants to even the skin tone, brighten the complexion and reduce the appearance of dark spots caused by scarring, while light diffusers and blurring powder fill and blur.
"Scarred skin looks and feels different because of its unique ratio of collagen. But, clinically-proven ingredients combined with a healthy lifestyle can help encourage a look and feel that's closer to unwounded skin," said Dr Howard Murad, founder of Murad Skincare.
"This encourages the skin to remodel, re-densify, retexturise and rebalance to healthy collagen ratios for a smoother and more uniform surface," he added.
