Medi-wellness industry event, The Medical Wellness Congress (MWC), will take place this year from 24-25 April near Vienna in Austria, following the success of its debut event in 2022.
The conference is organised by Health and Beauty France (a subsidiary of the Bolognafiere Cosmoprof group) and industry figure Vladi Kovanic, founder of the premier spa and wellness industry event Forum HOTel&SPA hosted annually in Paris.
The MWC is the first European event that brings together a community of experts and practitioners from the fields of wellbeing, health and medicine who share a common vision to improve the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of their clients and society more widely.
As in 2022, the luxurious St. Martins Spa & Lodge will host the 2023 edition of the annual event. Located at the edge of a National Park and Lake Spa, the resort provides the perfect location for the 2023 event with its theme of a “Focus on Integrative Wellness”.
The MWC team has already procured a stellar line-up of prestigious speakers for the event, including:
• Beata Aleksandrowicz, founder of the Aleksandrowicz System.
• Roger Allen, group CEO of RLA Global.
• Dr Boris Banovsky, group medical director for Ensana Health Spa Resorts Group.
• Nils Behrens, managing director and CMO at Lanserhof Group
• Patrick Huey, chair of the Board for the International Spa Association (ISPA).
• Susanne Kraus-Winkler, state secretary for tourism of the Republic of Austria.
• Dr Franz Linser, founder and managing director of Linser Hospitality.
• Dr Kateřina Smíšková MD of the Spiral Spinal Stabilisation Method Centre.
Alongside this roster of industry leaders, renowned brands will also attend and contribute to congress interactive workshops which will actively encourage sharing of knowledge and best practice.
