Accor has partnered with Dangayach Group to bolster its portfolio of 65 properties in India with two new luxury beachfront destinations
The established hospitality operator will open Raffles and Fairmont destinations linked by a shared beach club in Goa by 2030
Both locations are set to feature significant spa, wellness and fitness components
The new developments underscore Accor’s strategic focus on India as a high-potential growth market
Hospitality giant Accor is set to further strengthen its presence in India after signing two new tropical beachfront hotel and spa destinations in Goa.

The projects underway include Raffles Goa Shiroda, a 120-villa property spanning over 27 acres, and Fairmont Goa Shiroda, a 400-room destination spread across 56 acres. Linked by a shared beachfront club, both hotels will feature comprehensive spa, wellness and fitness facilities. Guests will also have access to an array of dining options, lounges, bars and event spaces.

Accor has partnered with developer Dangayach Group to bring the destinations to life, with openings targeted by 2030.

Already a significant player in India, Accor operates more than 65 hotels in the region across various brands. In 2024, the group launched five new Indian properties, including Raffles Jaipur, Grand Mercure Goa Candolim, Mercure Chandigarh, ibis Styles Mysuru and Novotel Goa.

The new developments in Goa underscore Accor’s strategic focus on India as a high-potential growth market and its ongoing efforts to expand its portfolio with premium offerings.

"We’re delighted to bring the elegant aesthetic of Raffles, and Fairmont's passion for turning moments into special memories, to the vibrant shores of Goa, expanding our footprint in India and bolstering Accor's position as one of the largest international hotel groups in the market," said Omer Acar, CEO of Raffles and Fairmont.

"This dual-branded project presents a wonderful opportunity to grow our luxury hospitality offerings in the region and to work with Dangayach Group. Together, we’re confident that these new luxury resorts will add excitement and new frontiers for travellers as well as locals."

Atul Dangayach, MD of Dangayach Group, added: "We believe Goa presents a remarkable growth opportunity, and these two new properties are set to redefine luxury and establish Goa as a premier global destination for weddings, events and leisure travel. Goa's rich culture and natural beauty provide the perfect setting for this new chapter in hospitality.”
