Country house hotel Alexander House in west Sussex, UK, is set to launch a new multi-million pound spa in January.

Utopia Spa will offer 25 treatment rooms, three pools, a heat treatment suite and a private spa garden with a hot tub.

Additional facilities will include an aerobics and yoga studio; a manicure, pedicure and hairdressing studio and a gymnasium.

The spa menu will have around 50 treatments and feature brands such as Guinot and Phytomer.

Signature therapies – such as Juniper Berry & Grapefruit Sea Salt Scrub and Japanese Hot Oil Massage – will use Utopia Zing, Alexander Hotels’ own range of organic products.

The new spa is part of the hotel’s current expansion programme, which will see the number of rooms double from 19 to 38, including new spa suites and feature rooms.

New dining facilities will comprise the Reflections Brasserie and Flames Courtyard – both also scheduled to open in January – while two new conference and banqueting spaces will open in March.
