The Alila Hotels and Resorts group has revealed details of its new resort and spa called Alila Cha-Am, which will be located in the coastal town of Cha-Am on the north west coast of the Gulf of Thailand.
Marketed as a luxury boutique resort, Alila Cha-Am’s wellness facilities will include a Spa Alila with a mineral thermal swimming pool and five treatment rooms with a speciality Thai massage room.
Other attractions within the development will include a wide range of Alila Experience packages for guests, such as Cultural Learning, alongside a number of sporting activities such as golf and rafting plus restaurants and bars.
Designed by Thailand architect Duangrit Bunnag, the boutique resort is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of this year but will undergo a soft opening next month.
Marc Gussing has been appointed general manager of Alila Cha-Am, Steven Berger is the resident manager and the executive chef will be Joel Wilkinson.
