Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas’ spa and wellness facilities will re-open with a host of enhanced hygiene measures and immune-boosting initiatives.

Anantara Spa has marked the occasion by unveiling an all-new signature massage oil dedicated to supporting the body’s natural defence system.

The oil contains clove oil, citrus aurantium peel extract, eucalyptus oil and rosemary – all ingredients known for their immune-boosting properties. Both clove oil and citrus Aurantium peel extract are claimed to protect against a wide range of bacterial cells, fungi and virus, while eucalyptus oil and rosemary oil include natural inflammatory properties and immune system boosters which aid in creating white blood cells that combat pathogens and disease.

Claimed to naturally improve the body’s biological defence system, the body toning massage oil will be used in signature massages as the company’s destinations and spas reopen in more than 40 different spas in 20 locations.

Speaking about the introduction of the new signature massage oil, Zoe Wall, group director of MSpa, the corporate division of spa and wellness for Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas, said: “Our guests’ wellbeing is important to us, and at Anantara Spa we endeavour to go above and beyond expectations at all times.

“Even during closure, our guests’ wellbeing was at the forefront of our minds and we took some time during lockdown to reflect on what we could do to show that we’re just as serious about their health as they are.

“While our guests will still want to relax with a massage, our new signature massage oil gives guest peace of mind knowing they are in safe hands, given that the main ingredients of the oil provide an extra boost for the immune system and can help fight viral attacks through the power of anti-bacterial essential oils.”
