Anantara Resorts and Spa's has appointed Andrew Turner as general manager for the Anantara brand's first property in China - Anantara Sanya Resort and Spa - due to open in early 2011.
Turner joins Anantara from a GM role at Solis Lough Eske Castle in Donegal Town, Ireland. Before joining Solis Lough, Turner held management roles with The Ritz-Carlton in Australia, the US, Egypt, Qatar and China as well as assisting in numerous hotel openings including the Capella Hotel and Resort, Castlemartyr, Ireland.
He graduated from The Hotel School InterContinental, Sydney in 1993.
