UK holistic spa treatment range supplier, Aquae Sulis, has launched a new franchise model for hotel spas following the success of its first Aquae Sulis Spa at the Ickworth hotel.
The company plans to roll out 12 sites within the next 18 months and has already identified a number of potential sites.
Managing director, Alistair Johnson, said: “We always felt that the brand had enough depth to sustain the full range of treatments a spa would need and we are confident the model will work in other luxury hotels and leisure operations.”
The franchise – which will operate under a three year renewable licence – will include design and consultancy, business planning, staff recruitment and training, marketing support and a business development programme.
“The market for spas is growing at over 70 per cent per annum and shows no signs of slowing,“ said Johnson.
