Australian spa supplier Li’Tya to launch own spa
POSTED 20 Apr 2005 . BY
After eight years as a product and treatment supplier, Australian company Li’Tya is to open and operate its own concept spa.

The spa, called Li’Tya Spa Dreaming, is currently under construction at the landmark St Kilda Sea Baths in Melbourne, Australia.

Located on the beach, the spa will feature at least ten treatment rooms, hydrotherapy pools, sea water spas and couples rooms overlooking Port Philip Bay.

The spa will have a comprehensive beauty and spa menu, featuring a new line of Li’Tya oceanic treatments, including micronised pearl, sea algae and indigenous salt water therapies.

A 17-strong team will run the spa under spa manager Amy Gourlay, formerly of Pennyhill Park in the UK.

Gourlay said: “The locale, ambiance and aesthetics are being planned right down to the finest details to ensure Li’Tya’s first concept spa will be an absolute haven for anyone seeking a truly superior spa experience.

“Our main focus from now until we officially open in August will be to stream-line all operations, in addition to setting up the presentation of the spa itself and individual treatment areas."

The project is a joint venture with South Pacific Health Club, which will operate a gym next door to the spa.
