Avani’s second Australian location to include two outdoor spas
POSTED 03 Apr 2018 . BY Jane Kitchen
The hotel will include an indoor swimming pool with floor-to-ceiling windows
Avani Hotels & Resorts is continuing its expansion in Australia with the development of Avani Central Melbourne Residences, its second property in Australia.

Due to open this year, the 456-bedroom, 55-storey hotel will draw inspiration from the brands contemporary design and will include an indoor swimming pool with floor-to-ceiling windows as well as two outdoor spas.

The hotel also will include a sauna, steamroom and a dedicated yoga room.

The brand’s first location, Avani Broadbeach Gold Coast Residences, opened last December. Avani has a growing global portfolio, with 23 properties operating around the world.

Avani recently launched Avani+ Luang Prabang in Laos and Avani Metropolis Auckland Residences in New Zealand, and has a pipeline of new properties under development, including in new destinations such as South Korea, the Maldives, Mauritius, Tunisia and Oman.

Commenting on the development, Alejandro Bernabé, vice president of operations for Avani Hotels & Resorts, said: “We are quite pleased with our growth in the region and debuting the first Avani in Melbourne, and having opened Avani Broadbeach Gold Coast Residences in Australia, as well as Avani Metropolis Auckland Residences in New Zealand complements our mission to grow the brand’s footprint globally.”
