George V Restauration (GVR) - the group behind the buddha-bar chain - has revealed further details about the new licensing agreements for six new spas under its Buddhattitude day spa concept and its buddha-bar spas.

Each spa will be owned by a separate company. GVR won't own the spas, but instead license its brand names with extensive guidelines including interiors, layouts, recruitment and training. There are also options in each agreement for a separate management contract, of which five of the six spas have taken.

Next to launch in October 2009 will be a Buddhattitude branded spa in Doha, Qatar. In February 2010, a Buddhattitude will open in Dakar, Senegal in the Fann Corniche area.

Further Buddhattitude spas will open in Dubai, UAE, in December 2010 and Shanghai, China, in late-2010. There will also be buddha-bar spas opening in Panama City, Panama, in 2010 and Sahl Hasheesh, Egypt in 2012.
