Thailand’s destination spa, Chiva-Som, has confirmed it is opening a second site, but is staying tight-lipped about the details.
The new property will open its doors in Petchaboon province in 2010 and the company is hoping to replicate the success of the 12-year-old Hua Hin site.
Set on 254 acres in Khao Kho, the new spa will be much larger than the first, reflecting the expected growth in the luxury health resort market.
UK architects, Syntax, who worked on Hua Hin, will design the 115-bed health resort.
