Ultra-luxury cruise line Silversea has announced details of the new Zàgara Beauty Spa on board its flagship vessel Silver Muse.
Zàgara melds its Italian heritage with a mind and body philosophy to nurture wellbeing. In order to experience a journey of the senses, guests are encouraged to create their own spa experience.
Blending artistry through visual and experiential elements with holistic therapies, the spa’s aim is to create peace and beauty at every touch point - from the Mood Room, where music, video and lighting is personalised, to infused treatment oils and teas.
“Wellness and unique memories are at the heart of our Silversea philosophy, and Silversea, in collaboration with Steiner, has created an unmatched spa experience at sea, which promises to be an oasis of relaxation and luxury,” said Alessandra Rossi Derubeis, director of on-board revenue management at Silversea Cruises.
The spa menu features Elemis Biotec facials, Elemis Thousand Flower Detox Wrap and the Amethyst Crystal Sound Bath Healing Treatment. There is also a barber shop offering men’s facial and shaving services.
The theme of ‘art in motion’ is carried through to the fitness area, with moving art streamed during relaxation and cardiovascular classes. Personal trainers are on hand for individual sessions, and training with bespoke premium programmes are also available on request.
Additional facilities include a pool deck, whirlpool area and sun loungers.

Silversea Cruises, which is chaired by Italian businessman Manfredi Lefebvre d'Ovidio, offers guests large-ship amenities aboard its intimate, all-suite vessels. Itineraries encompass all seven continents and feature worldwide luxury cruises to the Mediterranean, Caribbean, both Polar Regions and other destinations.
