Debrah Dhugga is to leave the hair and beauty brand ghd as its director of retail and spa as a result of the decision to discontinue the ghdspa range.

Dhugga brought to the role more than 26 years of management experience in the luxury hotel and spa industries, most recently as chief executive of Tom's Companies.

In a statement, the company thanked Debrah for "her leadership, tireless commitment and professional approach to the business".

Dhugga said: "I have enjoyed my time with the ghd family. It's a fantastic brand. However, I am now looking forward to moving back into the world of hospitality and spa." Details: ghdhair.com
