ESPA spa for Leela Palace Kempinski New Delhi
POSTED 10 Feb 2011 . BY Pete Hayman
ESPA is to launch its newest Indian spa in April, as part of a new Leela Palace Kempinski hotel located in New Delhi's Central Business District.

The 6,500sq ft (604sq m) Spa by ESPA has been designed by Jeffrey Wilkes and features two levels, the first hosting an 'active' spa and the second housing 'passive' facilities.

A fitness studio; male and female changing rooms; a relaxation lounge; and a spa café will be located on the first level, which will also boast a sauna, steamroom and drench showers.

The second level will incorporate seven treatment rooms and one private spa suite, offering ayurvedic-inspired treatments such as the Kiziswedana Ritual and the Royal Leela Facial.

A female relaxation room with roof terrace and the Finishing Studio will also comprise part of the Spa by ESPA, which incorporates Indian stone-carved panels into the design.

Other facilities at the 260-room Leela Palace Kempinski New Delhi include three speciality restaurants, a number of meeting rooms and a 5,500sq ft (511sq m) Grand Ballroom.

ESPA launched its first Indian spa at the Leela Palace Kempinski Udaipur in March.
