The Bowdoin College Museum of Art in Brunswick, Maine, US, has reopened its doors following a two-year, US$20.8m renovation and expansion project.

The project, which began in 2005, has increased the museum’s size by 63 per cent and increased the number of galleries at the site from nine to 14.

The museum is home to around 15,000 objects.
