Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide is to extend its luxury W Hotels brand with three new properties.
The new sites include the first Italian W Hotel and spa in Milan, the W Hotel in St Petersburg, Russia, and a third ski hotel and spa property in the resort town of Verbier in Switzerland, to be called the W Verbier Retreat.
All three properties are scheduled to open between late 2008 and early 2009.
