Gilpin Hotel & Lake House in the Lake District is set to unveil its new Jetty Spa at Gilpin Lake House this August.

The new spa will feature two treatment rooms with roaring fires and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the private lake. The treatment rooms also combine to become a romantic couples’ suite.

The ‘Jetty Spa Trail’ is the antithesis of the spa, with the trail booked for each couple in complete privacy.

The journey begins with an aromatherapy consultation to create personalised blended spa products for the treatments and to create a bespoke gift to take away. Couples then enjoy a private swim in the heated indoor pool, unwind in the warm salt snug with an aroma spritzer, and exfoliate with a salt scrub shower.

They then follow a trail through the woods leading to their private couples’ spa suite, where they will enjoy relaxing massages with their bespoke oils and lit fires.

Couples then relax in the Boat House with a speciality tea, and then to complete the Spa Trail guests will enjoy a glass of Champagne in the Japanese Ofura hot tub surrounded by candles.

The Jetty Spa Trail is exclusive to guests staying at Gilpin Lake House and costs £280 for two persons.
