Headlam Hall adds new spa to facilities

A £2.5m spa has opened at Headlam Hall country house hotel, near Gainford in County Durham, UK.

Headlam Spa covers 1,400sq m (15,070sq ft) and features a swimming pool, an outdoor hydrotherapy pool, a sauna, a steamroom, a poolside relaxation room and terrace alongside five treatment rooms.

The spa will also boast a lounge area, juice bar, brasserie bar, gym and studio space plus seven bedrooms.

Signature treatments have been created by Thalgo and Aromatherapy Associates while the spa concept and interior designers were Corporate Edge. Details: www.headlamhall.co.uk
