Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement with Société Touristique Tunisie Golfe for a Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Tunisia, Hilton Tunis Carthage.
A conversion property, the 283-room hotel - which will be the company's first in Tunisia - is expected to open by mid 2011. It is situated in Tunis Gammarth, about twenty minutes drive from the centre of Tunis itself.
Facilities will include three restaurants, a lounge bar, meeting and banqueting space, two outdoor swimming pools, an indoor heated pool, a beach, a Hilton Fitness by Precor centre, a spa and a traditional Hammam.
