Josefin Roth named brand manager for LivNordic
POSTED 04 Feb 2019 . BY Jane Kitchen
Rooth has been instrumental in developing the LivNordic concept since its inception in 2010
Scandinavian spa brand LivNordic Spa & Wellness has named Josefin Roth as brand manager for the company. Roth has worked for global spa consultancy Raison d’Etre – LivNordic’s parent company – for seven years, and has played an instrumental role in the development of LivNordic since its inception in 2010.

Roth will be heading up the brand and will continue to develop and promote LivNordic’s messaging.

Roth’s passion for the Nordic quality of life and her involvement in all of LivNordic’s projects to date makes her perfectly suited to the role of brand manager, the company said.

Having worked at Grand Hotel Nordic Spa & Fitness when Raison d’Etre opened it in 2009, Roth helped LivNordic move from a concept to a prolific spa business. Roth soon began working in the Raison d’Etre head office in Stockholm, where she was to become project manager.

The LivNordic concept harnesses wellbeing practices from Nordic countries: a oneness with nature, a pleasure in life’s simplicities and an appreciation for all kinds of sensory experiences.

‘Liv’ means ‘life’ in Swedish, and represents the only human survivor of Ragnarök, a great battle of gods, giants and men in Norse mythology – a nod to the brand’s heritage.

“It is an honour to be leading LivNordic, a brand that is so heartfelt and precious to Raison d’Etre,” said Roth. “When LivNordic was developed, we started to dig deeper into what is so special about Scandinavia. I realised that the aspects of wellbeing that were so normal to me, that I was practicing regularly, such as taking a walk in the forest, were actually contributing hugely to the wellbeing of my nation and were quite unique to our way of living. Helping others to discover this is at the very heart of LivNordic, which is what is so special about the brand.”
