Iconic Texas hotel and wellness destination Texas The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa has announced the appointment of Kelleye Martin as the new director of its Trellis Spa.
With more than 25 years of experience in the spa and hospitality industry, Martin is now overseeing the daily operations of the Houston spa while expanding its service offerings.
Trellis Spa, located on 27 acres of wooded property in the heart of Houston, recently underwent a
multimillion-dollar renovation in 2021, adding 9,500sq ft to become the largest luxury spa in Texas.
"In addition to the beauty of the property itself, what excites me the most is the incredible team here at Trellis," says Martin. "Their dedication to making the spa and the entire customer experience exceptional is truly remarkable.”
In her new role, Martin has been tasked with continuing to provide high levels of service at the Trellis Spa and creating an unforgettable experience for spa guests.
Most recently, she served as Edgewater Spa’s director of spa and retail in Madison, Wisconsin.
Prior to this, she served on ISPA’s board of directors and held spa leadership roles at Coeur d'Alene, Casino Resort and Hotel, Washington Athletic Club, InSpa Corporation and Kah-Nee-Ta Resort and Casino.
