The Lake Nona Impact Forum has relased new details about the theme and agenda for its 13th annual gathering in February
The three-day invitation-only gathering focuses on turning adversity into impact through innovation, collaboration and resilience
The event will showcase a variety of speakers from across the health and wellness spectrum – previous keynotes have included Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder, and Dan Buettner, the pioneer behind the Blue Zones concept
The forum's mission is to inspire human potential through health and wellbeing innovation
More than 700 world-class leaders across health, wellbeing, technology and business are set to gather at The Lake Nona Impact Forum in Orlando, Florida, this February.

Now in its 13th year, the annual three-day event is dedicated to improving human health on a global scale with a mission of developing and discussing long-term strategies that will catalyse the industry worldwide.

This year’s theme, "Uncommon Conversations for Extraordinary Times," has been chosen to underscore the urgency of addressing global challenges through bold, transformative dialogue.

Meanwhile, the subtheme, "Adversity to Impact," will highlight how resilience and innovation can reshape challenges into opportunities for growth and societal advancement.

What’s on the agenda?
This year's forum will feature keynotes and panels on a range of topics, including:

The Longevity Revolution: Entrepreneurs, futurists and therapeutic specialists will explore strategies for extending health spans and redefining what it means to age well. Discussions will uncover the economic, societal and psychological implications of extended lifespans.

The Miracle Molecule: Unlocking GLP-1s' Potential. From weight loss to improved heart and kidney health, GLP-1 therapies are claimed to be rewriting the rules of medicine. Sessions will tackle their wide-reaching impacts, from addiction treatment to reshaping industries including food and wellness.

Advancing Equity – Transforming Women's Health: Addressing historic inequities, this track highlights groundbreaking research, innovations and new tools designed to close gender gaps in medicine.

Mental Health Solutions for All: With insights from the largest global surveys and grassroots initiatives, these sessions focus on improving access and advancing mental healthcare worldwide.

Resilience and Advocacy: Survivors of cancer and life-threatening illnesses share personal stories that inspire societal change. These sessions examine how advocacy turns adversity into transformative movements.

"As we step into 2025, we’re poised for significant advancements in health and science," said Gloria Caulfield, event founder (check out her exclusive interview with Spa Business here).

"This year's programme unites diverse perspectives, fostering conversations designed to inspire actions that extend well beyond our gathering."

The venue
As in previous years, the 2025 event will be hosted at Smart City of the Future, in the Lake Nona wellness community.

Established more than two decades ago, Lake Nona is a 17-square-mile community created with the vision of building the ideal place to inspire human potential through innovation. The population has steadily grown and now tens of thousands of people live, work and study in Lake Nona.

The community is also home to some of the nation’s top universities, hospitals and research institutions where internationally acclaimed healthcare experts have launched businesses and pioneered first-of-its-kind advancements in their fields.
