A new day spa has opened at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina property in the US, called The Hideaway by Exquisite Massage & Skincare.
The on-site spa features three individual treatment rooms and a couples' room for therapies that all begin with a hot towel treatment and an aromatherapy scalp massage. A number of body scrubs and body wraps are on offer, in addition to a range of specialised massages from neuromuscular to prenatal.
There is also a relaxation lounge with music, signature teas and infused waters.
Products in use at the spa include Yon-Ka and Doterra.
The 1,360-guestroom hotel, comprised of two 25-floor towers, has also just broken ground on a meeting space expansion project scheduled to open Q3 of 2016. Other facilities at the property include two swimming pools, whirlpools, an onsite fitness centre, one restaurant and a 446-slip marina.
