A £0.5m new spa is set to open at Stevenage Swimming Centre in Hertfordshire following a partnership between Stevenage Borough Council and sports trust Stevenage Leisure (SLL).

The Methisis Spa, which will be open to the general public, will boast Klafs equipment including a saunarium, a steamroom, shower pods and a relaxation area. Two treatment rooms will offer a range of holistic treatments.

The spa compliments the existing Kinesis fitness studio to complete the swimming facility’s Wellness Centre.

Ian Morton, managing director of SLL, said: “We are delighted with the new spa and the exciting range of features that it offers our customers.

“It is another example of how we can work closely with Stevenage Borough Council to provide the best leisure facilities and opportunities for the communities we serve.”
