Cadbury House Hotel & Country Club in Congresbury, Somerset, UK, has appointed Chris Swire as general manager.
Swire joins the team at the hotel during the final phase of a redevelopment which has already seen the opening of a £5.5m (US$10.8m, 8.4m euro) spa in May last year and a £1.5m (US$2.96m, 2.3m euro) refurbishment of the historic country house.
The final part of the construction – a 72-bedroom, boutique-style hotel – will open in May this year.
Cadbury House is located in 14 acres countryside in the south west of England.
