Zen Lifestyle spa in Edinburgh, Scotland, is to open a new site in the city at Teviot Place in late October.
Featuring five treatment rooms – two on the ground floor and three in the basement – and an additional room which will be solely used for spray tanning.
An LCD television and specialist camera will be installed in one of the downstairs treatment rooms in order to analyse customers’ skin in great detail. The equipment can also be used for wedding make-up trials and before and after shots.
The retail area of the spa will be around 500sq ft while the spa will stock Aveda and Elemis products and treatments.
There will be music in all the treatment rooms and a separate music system for the open areas of the spa.
The overall design of the salon will be minimalist in style, incorporating a mixture of textures including glass, walnut and ash and slate while the balustrade will be made from glass and stainless steel.
