OBE for Dorothy Purdew

Owner of the UK-based Champneys Health Resorts Group, Dorothy Purdew, has been recognised with an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her services to the health spa industry and charity in the Queen’s birthday honours list.

She said: “It is an honour, but it is also recognition that Champneys has led the changes over the years in the spa industry.” Details: champneys.com
