Ria Frederick is to become the operations manager of the newly opened LeSpa at Sofitel Queenstown in Australia.
Frederick will work with a team of 10 LeSpa staff and will be responsible for the delivery of quality service in the spa.
Formerly a management consultant for the British Home Office, Frederick said: “It’s a very different role for me and an exciting challenge. “I’m naturally quite a perfectionist and I like to see things done well.”
Vikki Aquino has also recently become spa director at the Queenstown facility following two years as a consultant for Sofitel, responsible for launching four spas in the Asia-Pacific.
The Sofitel brand is part of the Accor hospitality group, which operates in nearly 100 countries with more than 160,000 employees.
